Hi all,
some time ago I asked about recommended logo texts in a special context.
Here is a summary of the replies I got.
Thanks to Brian Harvey, Kyle Watkins, Jim Muller, and Craig Duncan for
hints and to George Mills for maintaining the Logo Page on the Web.
cheers,
Bernd

The Berkley Logo User Manual which can be obtained from UCB on the Web is
not a text book, but it suits my purpose quite well.
Book suggestions were
Roger W. Haigh, LOGO for Apple computers, N.Y., Wiley 1984
McDougall, A. Adams, T & Adams. P. (1986). Learning Logo on the Apple IIE.
Sydney: Prentice-Hall
and the Primer by Jim Muller: "The Turtles Discovery Book" which is on the Web.
The best Web entry point to find Logo stuff (including the FAQs and Jim
Muller's primer) is http://www.ultranet.com/~mills.
Another text I have discovered myself is the
Pocket Guide LOGO, Boris Allan, London, Pitman 1984
Not a comprehensive text book, but not bad if you want to learn logo in 60
minutes and already have programming experience.
