LOGO-L> looking for the right logo

My name is Judson Rhoads. I am a primary (1st, 2nd grade) teacher at
McGraw Elementary School in Fort Collins, Colorado.
A few years ago I used LegoLogo on Apple IIgs, I now have access
to only Macs. I feel that my students were missing out on many aspects
of programming because of our use of the Macs. As part of a grant that I
received I am teaching my students logo using LegoDacta. The only
difficulty is that LegoDacta is limiting to the amount of logo
"experiences" and is focused more towards programming only the Lego
structures that we construct. I have been working with a copy of UCB
Logo that was downloaded off the net, but it too is limited in all of the
things that I did with the logo from LegoLogo a couple of years ago.
What I am looking for is a logo program that will work similar to
the one I learned on the IIgs. I am looking for different turtle
patterns, colors, fillers, all of which can run on a Macintosh.
I would appreciate any information out there on the topic.
