MicroWorlds is the most advanced version of Logo
ever! Relying on Easy to use drawing tools, a comprehensive,
built-in-shapes editor, point & click buttons and sliders, students
combine graphics, text, animation,
music and sound into exciting multimedia projects such as interactive
maps and newspapers, living stories and their own fully functioning
software. The constructivist design of MicroWorlds engages students in
the learning process to make the design and creation of a multimedia
project a rich, learning experience. New MicroWorlds 2.0 for Macintosh
pushes the power of Logo even
further by providing access to: QuickTime movies; Sound clips and photo
banks; Pioneer Laserdiscs and Audio CD's.
MicroWorlds 2.0 has a new, more user-friendly program look & feel. It
allows students to make or import their own stamps of any size and shape.
It also provides a "full screen" mode and supports the "1000 colours
mode" all of which allow students to create even more impactful projects. And,
students can show-off their "masterpieces" at home or to fellow students
using a new "player" version.
