LOGO-L> MicroWorlds v2 is out! (updated)

My apologies in advance to the list if this message (now updated) gets
posted twice - I sent the earlier submission to the old acme.fred address
by mistake and was not sure if it would appear. I thought the information
was important/intersting enough to risk your wrath!

MicroWorlds v2 appears to be out!

According to an email message I received from Joanne Tremblay of the LCSI
Customer Service Department on the 25th, MicroWorlds version 2.0 was
released last week! LCSI are also in the process of pressing a new Demo CD
featuring all their products which will run on both MACs or PCs and which
will be available at the end of January.

They are also in the process of setting up a www page which should be up and
running by the end of next week. The address will be: http://www.lcsi.ca

I asked if version 2 would be available as an upgrade but Joanne didn't
reply to this point and when I contacted TAG today (26th) they had no
knowledge of v2 being available as an upgrade. TAG have MicroWorlds v2
listed at =A369 and they order it from LCSI when you send in an order.

The new features that I've seen listed for MicroWorlds v2 seem to bring it
well into line with Hyperstudio and at long last there appears to be a
"player" facility which should make it a whole lot easier for us all to
exchange our logo ideas. Hyperstudio by the way has a UK support page on
the www at: http://www.gold.ac.uk
