Sorry to have to contact you via the list, but your e-mail address
didn't appear on the message I got from you.
Thanks very much for the info. about the George Mills book. My
husband says he'll help me sort out how to view it when he's got
time. He's the one with the technical knowhow, I'm a mere beginner.
I usually work with a few children at a time in my class to get them
all to at least a basic level of understanding. It can get quite
frustrating as our school has a very high turnover of pupils since
many of their fathers are career soldiers who get moved around quite
a lot.
I'm aiming to try to develop some exercises for some of the younger
children so that I don't have to keep on starting again at the
beginning with every new class that I get, as well as doing some
extension work with the older children. My main problem is that I
have to cover every other subject in the curriculum as well so
there's always an enormous pressure on time.
Thanks once again for your help. I'd like to swap further ideas
some time if that would be O.K. with you.
