Well....because for the ten years or so that its been around, its
generated more heat than light. And beyond the CompSci argument, which
was ended by Brian Harvey's 'Symbolic Programming....' paper, it is
really just another embodiment of 'why aren't schools better than they
are?'. Which is truly a deadend issue. Have a look at 'Dumbing us Down'
by John Taylor Gatto, and at 'Family Matters' by David Guterson.
