LOGO-L> Tracing and displaying lists

Brian,
I primarily use MSWLogo, and somtimes UCBLogo.

Thanks for the tip:
>OUTPUT in Logo terminates the procedure it's in.  Once the procedure
>has output a result, it's finished!  Try this:

Also,
>Footnote 2:  If you *are* using UCBLogo or MSWLogo, then instead of
>all this effort you can just say
>
>        trace "b.sum

This did exactly what I wanted, with minimal work.
Sometimes the simplist solutions are the best.

I also tried displaying the same info in LIST and COMBO boxes in MSWLogo,
but each forces a different sort order, with no flags or control for the user.
Logo itself has so many rich list handling procedures, but for visual display and
manipulation of combo-boxes I'm usually forced back to Visual-Basic.

Plists, which I use a lot, need hierarchical (indented) display, which I
haven't been able to simulate in either the list-boxes or combo-boxes of
MSWLogo.

Bob

P.S. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of your 3 volumn set, I hope it arrives here
before the Christmas vacation is over!
