LOGO-L> Greetings

Greetings to all LOGO-L list members...

My name is Bill Lynn. I am new to your list and I would just like to take
a moment to introduce myself.

I am a Speech Pathologist involved in providing assistive technology and
computer access to people with disabilities. I am also a software
developer specializing in single switch software for children with
disabilities. I am publisher of the HyperStudio Journal and a provider of
third-party support for HyperStudio and its resident scripting language
HyperLogo. I authored the "Exploring HyperLogo" tutorial that ships with
HyperStudio.

My main purpose for joining this list is to get a feel for the more
traditional LOGOs and how they are similar to and different from
HyperLogo. Although I am experienced with a number of multimedia
scripting languages (HyperTalk, SuperTalk, Lingo) I am still not
convinced that HyperLogo is best suited for the purpose of communicating
with HyperStudio.

I am initiating a HyperLogo mailing list in the next week or so for
HyperStudio users who need help with scripting. My main purpose in doing
so is to promote the use of scripting in HyperStudio so that it doesn't
get scrapped in some future version of the program.

Cheers... Bill Lynn, Publisher
HyperStudio Journal
