Re: LOGO-L> About UCBlogo

Sorry to come in late on this topic, but I've been away from my mail for a
couple of weeks.

and several folk offered suggestions.

About 4 years ago I wrote a simple DOS device driver to do basic read and
write operations on the PC's LPT ports, for the purpose of driving Lego
models from UCB Logo. You load the device driver in config.sys, and then you
just use UCB Logo's standard file I/O commands to read and write to the LPT
ports.

The device drivers, explanations, and some demo programs for a Lego traffic
light are still available via ftp from cher.media.mit.edu (do these folk
keep stuff for ever?). Look in the directory /pub/logo/potluck/traffic for
the file traffic.zip

Hope this helps,

John Wolff.
