The research project (www.ioe.ac.uk/playground) is being led by Richard Noss
and Celia Hoyles at the Institute of Education at the University of London.
I am just a technical consultant to the project. I have heard that SuperLogo
is comparable to MicroWorlds. Also, the version of SuperLogo to be used is a
new enhanced version that is under development. It seems that SuperLogo
(also known as OpenLogo) is popular in Europe while MicroWorlds is popular
in North America. I personally have no opinion as to which is better.

Yes, that is my perception too. I think it is sad, even though I have lots
of respect for titles like SimCity. But maybe the next generation of kids
programming languages can reverse the trend. I have my fingers crossed.
