Young students of computer programming might need extra math tools in order to develop certain kinds of programs, and these tools could be given to them as part of a computer programming class. The same is true in other subjects (for example, many years ago in 8-th grade, we learned about the sine function in Physics class several weeks before we started trig in Math; It was needed in order to explain some concepts in Optics). I just do not belong to the school of thought saying that computers (and Logo in inparticular) are effective vehicles for teaching math.
