Clare,

I use the Win95 version of MW2.0.  I modified Dale's suggestion for
setpensize as follows and it works ok.

to testor
clean
setc (50 + random 18)
repeat 9 [fd 100 rt 40 adjust setpensize :thickness]
end

to adjust
make "thickness random 39
make "thickness :thickness + 1
end
