LOGO-L> LEGO Control Lab

Hi All,
I am using the Decta Control Lab to drive an automated section of my LEGO
Train Layout. (I am a member of the Pacific Nortwest LEGO Train Club, URL:
www.pnltc.org ) I want to pulse the motor on my train for finer speed
control,but I can't seem to get any faster then 10Hz = 1/10 sec granularity.
Is there a way to get a fast pulse via DOS LEGO LOGO. Is there an
alternative programing environment for the Decta Control Lab. I am a heavy
Visual Basic user and would tear thru this project in no time if I could use
VB. Even just the low level API/command set for the Decta Control Lab. I
would write my own OCX (VB plug in).
