LOGO-L> LEGO/Logo research

From: monika@onsite.pl.net (Monika Fry)

Greetings,

I am currently writing a research proposal for some research I
intend to embark on next year which (at the moment) is as
follows...

Title: LEGO/Logo, and Technology Education: computer programming
for the control of mechanisms.

Problem: The Logo computer program enables children to write
programs to control machines they have constructed with LEGO
parts. The purpose of this project is to research what teacher
support is needed to implement the teaching of Logo/LEGO within
the electronics and control area of the technology curriculum.

I also want to look at the potential for a New Zealand learning
community of classroom LEGO/Logo enthusiasts.

I would be grateful for titles and whereabouts of any reference
material as well as any personal ideas anyone may have on the
subject.

Many thanks,

-----
Regards,
Monika Fry
