I don't mean to imply disagreement with the general thrust of Gary's
post but just want to remind all of you that homeschoolers(I prefer to
call them self-directed learners) are not generally "rich" in money
but they do have computers and can afford whatever it takes to provide
rich learning environments for their families.

However they have been taken by educational "authorities" before.  So
they must be shown considerable evidence that their children will
enjoy programming with Logo and will actually learn useful skills from
it before they are going to invest the necessary time and money.

It is a whole new learning environment out here.  And that is good.
