SuperLogo includes TEXTSCREEN and some related functions (like cursor
addressing and basich 16 colors to be used in the text screen). See links
at the bottom of this mail to know more abou SuperLogo.
I agree with George Mills, that TEXTSCREEN is quite an 'old-style' element.
But I think also that nothing better was developed to run 'classical' Logo
programs which do not use any graphics. 
Also when you want to have a textual dialog with the computer and a kind of
history has to be maintained even if you repeat some commands, the text
screen is the best solution too (but in this case the commander window of
MSW Logo has nearly the same capabilities, too).
