Yes, See SETFOCUS and GETFOCUS online help. If you call GETFOCUS and it returns the name of the Window that initiated the call then you know if your selected or not. Note that most actions initiated from a Window will already have "focus". However, a background timer, see SETTIMER, (not asscoiated with any window) can be running which monitors which window has focus and take action based on that information.
