LOGO-L> New to this list!

My name is Jean Stringer and I teach at St. Julie Billiart School. I have used
Logo Writer for AppleII machines for quite a few years, and Lego Logo for the
Apples I have allowed afterschool interested students to learn it on their
own. I do not know as much as they do about it.  We purchased some new
machines this past year and now have MicroWorlds on 10 Machines, and reading
this list makes me realize I KNOW little! I hope to learn more in the future
and appreciate this list as a place to learn.
This past year, we worked on a project about inventions and I challenged my
sixth graders to use the MicroWorlds to create their inventions. They were
pressured by time and not knowing the program, though they had used LogoWriter
for one project. I was very proud of their results.
