i just found a a tool which
thosw of you producing gif animation should have a look at

Description: Multithreaded 32bit animated Gif designer for
beginners and experts with an intuitive user interface, lots of
built-in effects and transitions, and speed/size optimizing 
settings.
Supports import of many graphic formats
(Gif,Jpg,Bmp,Tga,AVI,Ico,Ani,Cur,Dib)

it allows to directly import bitmaps produced in logo
without an additional conversion step.

it also allows drop and drag of many files at once.

i think it is quote useful,
and it comes from my home country!
