Oh sure but I am not an intellectual but only a simple former
Electromagnetics Engineer that understands and appreciates John Holt and
Grace Llewellyn and John Gatto and Sheldon Richman and...

Tom and Chuck how about a deal?

I will move the removal of the TAX support of the public schools off the
top of my libertarian list of government services first to go and put it
down near the middle thus leaving Social Security and Medicare and the
Drug War at the top. This puts TAX support for the few people left in
the Public Schools above the National Parks, the Environmental Pollution
Agency and National Defense which will be very difficult services to
supply by the free market.

If you will agree to begin calling the public schools by what they truly
are, Welfare Schools, and start advocating the elimination of the
truancy laws. In some states it is still way too difficult for families
and their students to control their own learning environments. Families
that would much rather eat their breakfasts at home thank you.

Deal?

And to all of you that are in other countries. These issues are being
discussed worldwide on other lists so I know at least some of you are
interested. And I think we are about through with this subject on this
list for another six months. Before it flares up again. Dale
