Hi Jacinta, You can do multimedia projects with both microworlds and hyperstudio. I've used microworlds a lot but only had a quick look at hyperstudio. I think that hyperstudio might be easier to use but microworlds is more flexible. eg. in hyperstudio you are continually offered choices through pop up menus. In microworlds you have to program the choice you want using logo programming. ie. hyperstudio is more of a "turn key" system whereas in microworlds you have to think about what you are doing and how to do it. I prefer the microworlds approach because of its increased flexibility once you know what you are doing. hyperstudio does allow for programming but it is much more in the background. Michael Tempel has written a more detailed critical analysis. I can post the URL if you want it. -- Bill Kerr --------------------------------------------------------------- Please post messages to the Logo forum to logo-l@gsn.org.
