I agree. I'd like to add that it is much easier to write short programs with dynamically scoped languages, than it is with statically scoped ones. Many "professional adult experts" use both. I personally use Perl (dynamically scoped) for quickly solving localized "not too big" problems. Applying C++ to these problems would take a lot more time. BTW, Perl is heaily used (by "professional adult experts") in web servers.
