LOGO-L> Infinity and like words

Brian

I picked up you comment on using 'infinite precision' representation of
numbers. We sometimes get a little careless in our use of words and this
can lead to conceptual problems. As any real computer is a finite machine
the concept of infinity is incompatible with it. I think you mean
*unlimited* (or unconstrained, or uninhibited or what have you) precision?
I.e. an approach to number representation that does not stuff the number
into the equivalent of an eight-character calculator display but allows
you to keep on writing numerals as on a sheet of plain paper.
