That's how Logo got into the parlous state it is in today! If you are 
working at such a concrete level it is *far* better to get kids to follow 
instructions shouted by other kids (using spoken language not unseen 
ripples in the aether)- this is what *active* learning is all about. Then 
step up to the power of on-screen representation. The Floor Turtle was a 
technological intermediate - let it go.
