It's interesting how much interest and how many responses were caused by the problems of binary structure, Morse Code, Alphabetical Writing vs. ASCII code, etc... In the sixties and later on there were even attempts to demonstrate that any language has essentially binary structure. I mean the Transformational Grammar Theory by Noam Chomsky. (Now it is so called Government and Binding Theory). Chomsky tried to prove that any sentence has essentially binary structure. Subject and Predicate Group on the first level, Noun and a Modifier, a Verb and a Modifyer on the nexgt level and so on.
