Sorry I could not reply to <roy@unice.fr> Your request is a little ambiguous so I'll try to cover all the bases. There is source for an implementation of Logo with 3D capabilities called MSWLogo available at www.softronix.com (this is Borland 5.02 C++ source code). There is Logo code written FOR a Logo implementation that supports 3D called MSWLogo that is included with the installation of MSWLogo at www.softronix.com. However the current release only supports "wireframe" 3D modeling and requires you to redraw each "frame" as you fly the turtle "eye" through 3D space. But you can record each frame and play them back at as fast as your computer can go. The new pending release of MSWLogo 3D V6.3 will support solid shaded objects and requires a certain skill level (Grade 10 math or so?) to define 3D surfaces. Another advantage is that you can fly the turtle through your scene without having to redraw it. However if you have even a moderately complex scene it will take time for each frame and you'll have to resort to recording each frame. See the recent post I just did that shows a 3D shaded box being folded into the shape of a box. This latest release is available as a BETA (very little documentation on the new "shading" capabilities, just several examples) and the Borland C++ source is not available as yet. The release version with shading capabilities should be avilable in a few weeks. You might want to look back at several of the posts on comp.lang.logo that I just did. jstclair@omsd.cerf.fred.org wrote: > > Please reply to Jean-Paul Roy <roy@unice.fr> or logo-l@gsn.org NOT > logo-list@gsn.org or me. > > -John- > --Message below re-posted by <jstclair@omsd.cerf.fred.org> > Date - Tue, 16 Jun 1998 10:15:01 +0100 > >From - Jean-Paul Roy <roy@unice.fr> > To - jcstclair@omsd > Subject - 3D Logo source ? > Usenet: comp.lang.logo > ------------------ > Post Usenet mail to comp-lang-logo@ucbvax.berkeley.edu > ------------------ > > A friend of mine [physicist] wants for his son the source of a 3D > package for Logo.
