Cool, does wabi support 32bit or 16bit? MSWLogo uses an environment variable TEMP for different operations. Such as editing. The TEMP environment variable must point to a writable area on the disk. However if TEMP is not defined at all MSWLogo will warn you that it's going to use "C:\" Since you did not mention this warning message it sounds like TEMP is defined and likely, based on your message, defined to point at C:\TMP. Perhaps the directory C:\TMP does not exist and you have to make it so. jstclair@omsd.cerf.fred.org wrote: > > Please reply to Hans Gubitz <gubitz@netcologne.de> or logo-l@gsn.org > NOT logo-list@gsn.org or me. > > -John- > --Message below re-posted by <jstclair@omsd.cerf.fred.org> > Date - 14 Jun 1998 16:01:55 +0200 > Reply-to - gubitz@netcologne.de > >From - Hans Gubitz <gubitz@netcologne.de> > To - jcstclair@omsd > Subject - wabi+mswlogo > Usenet: comp.lang.logo > ------------------ > Post Usenet mail to comp-lang-logo@ucbvax.berkeley.edu > ------------------ > > I try to run mswlogo with wabi on a linux machine. > > When I want to edit a file there is a message: > > Unable to read file c:/TMP/mswlogo.tmp from disk > > Who can help? > > Hans Gubitz > > -- =============================================================== George Mills email: mills@softronix.com http://www.softronix.com The www page contains some very powerful educational software.
