Just thought I'd let MicroWorlds users (wither DOS or Win 95 - not sure about Mac) know about a little problem I have encountered when using the program, but also a solution. Problem For some reason MicroWorlds tells you that it can't open a file because of a corruption (predominently) or other problem. It usually happens if the file you are working on is not saved properly (or you get a Windows GPF.) Solution Go into the directory where the file is saved. You will (hopefully) see two copys of the file. (example below for Win 95) my project.mw2 0 bytes my project.tmp 537 bytes MicroWorlds uses a tmp file situation for working on files. If you delete the .mw2 (or mwp - DOS) file and rename the .tmp file, it should solve the problem. There may not always be a tmp file, but 99% of the time there is. Hope this helps out anyone who may have experienced the problem.
