ok, i fouled up again. i head not read the documentation carefully enough, which explicitly says that crossmap with one list of list argument has the reasonable default behaviors. nevertheless, i think that setting the default number of arguments to 3 (2 lists) would make it somewhat "more natural" i think that crossmap [?1 * ?2] iseq 1 10 iseq 1 10 without parentheses should work. currently, we have to do either (crossmap [?1 * ?2] iseq 1 10 iseq 1 10) or crossmap [?1 * ?2] list iseq 1 10 iseq 1 10 try crossmap [?1 * ?2] iseq 1 10 iseq 1 10 which of course is equivalent to crossmap [?1 * ?2] iseq 1 10 and you will get a very strange result without any warning that is very dangerous, i think -- Erich Neuwirth <neuwirth@smc.univie.ac.at> Computer Supported Didactics Working Group, Univ.
