talking about the library:

crossmap has 2 for the number of default parameters.

that does not make too much sense.
the first parameter is the template,
and the second parameter is just one list.

crossmap with one template and one list
behaves exactly like map

i think the default should be 3,
meaning one template and 2 lists.

can we agree that this should be changed.
