LOGO-L> GSN sponsors NECC Birds of a Feather

NOTE: You're receiving this message because you're subscribed to a GSN
mailing list.

All Invited!

If you're attending NECC in Seattle June 30-July 1, the Global SchoolNet
Foundation invites you to a special meeting to meet the GSN folks and one
another.

Global SchoolNet has been sponsoring and helping teachers sponsor on-line
learning projects since 1984... longer than just about anyone else!
Perhaps you've joined in one of our projects: Letters to Santa (our very
first project), Geogame, Newsday, Where in the World is Roger, Family
TreeMail, Electronic Fieldtrips, CyberFair, ThinkQuest, Hilites, K12opps,
CU-SeeMe Videoconferencing, Global SchoolHouse... the list goes on and on.
Visit our web site at http://www.gsn.org to learn more about GSN or
http://www.gsh.org to learn more about our Global Schoolhouse site.

We'd like to have a chance to meet you... and let you meet other K-12
educators who share interests in distance collaboration projects. We'll
give you an up-to-the-minute snapshot of new opportunities for 1997-98
school year, and provide a brief overview of our free services that you can
use in planning your own projects. We'll also tell you how you can get
the next release of Harnessing the Power of the Web CD-ROM sent to you for
FREE.

Please join us for an informal hour of sharing and discussion at our
Birds-of-a-Feather session at NECC on Tuesday, July 1st, from 6-7:00 PM.

If you have a project idea that you'd like to launch next school year,
bring a brief flyer to hand out to likely partners.

Please reply by email letting us know if you'll be able to join us.

Looking forward to meeting you!!

Al Rogers
Executive Director

Yvonne Marie Andres
President & Curriculum Director

and the rest of the GSN Support Team!
