To be fair to UCBLogo it has to be said that the it performs calculations with (a fixed number of) 15 meaningful digits. LCSI PCLogo had a variable precision (set by SETPRECISION primitive), with a default of 10 meaningful digits. The higher the precision - the more time calculation took. It would be wise to compare the speeds of these two Logos when set for the save level of precision. BTW: The late LCSI PCLogo could perform caculations with precisions from 5 up to 1000 meaningful digits!! Regards...
