Hi, this is probably not appropriate for "posting", but I didn't know how/where else to ask. What is the difference between eMailing to logo-l@gsn.org and "submitting" something to comp.lang.logo? Is logo-l@gsn.org the way to submit to comp.lang.logo? Do any/all of these eMails to logo-l@gsn.org end-up in comp.lang.logo? Sorry to be bothering you with this. I'm new to InterNet NewsGroups, so I'm still unclear as to how they work. I suppose there is either another NewsGroup or some other InterNet source that would explain all of this, along with appropriate etiquette, if only I had the energy to find it. BTW... 1) Where's all the other/earlier entries in comp.lang.logo? It might be nice to catch-up on the conversation(s). 2) Many of the entries in comp.lang.logo seem to be responses to inquiries, but the location of the original inquiries isn't apparent. Further, some of the reponses seem to be to inquiries that originated elsewhere, maybe as eMails to logo-l@gsn.org. I thought that successive NewsGroup entries followed earlier entries allowing one to follow a line of "conversation", or inquiry followed by response. 3) Does that indicate that logo-l@gsn.org is a subscribable eMailing process? If so, then why would there be a need for comp.lang.logo? Or, why not just use comp.lang.log instead of eMailings to logo-l@gsn.org? At any rate, if the former, then how do I sign-up? I see that by sending "unsubscribe logo-l" to majordomo@gsn.org, one can unsubscribe, but how to "subscribe"? 4) Is comp.lang.logo the only NewsGroup for Logo matters? 5) Is logo-l@gsn.org the only eMailing address for Logo matters? 6) Who/what is logo-l@gsn.org? Do either logo-l or gsn have a Web location? --------------------------------------------------------------- Please post messages to the Logo forum to logo-l@gsn.org. Mail questions about the list administration to logofdn@gsn.org. To unsubscribe send unsubscribe logo-l to majordomo@gsn.org.
