Bob Gorman is correct that ZOOM uses a different drawing method that
is slower. You can use a trick that enables the ZOOM drawing mode
without changing the ZOOM visually by just changing it slightly.

ZOOM 1.0000001

This however depends on how smart/fast your video card is.
