LOGO-L> LOGO on Notebooks

Are any of you out there in LOGO land using laptops/notebooks to run
MSWLogo, and MicroWorlds and ?  

There is only one computer on this house and my better half is starting
to get hooked on cyberspace and...

Anyway during longer term road trips(4x4 pickup truck) I would like to
be able to continue my Logo studies under the truck canopy in the
evenings.

Any suggested minimum hardware and software requirements?  I will be
using Windows 95 so I can move back and forth with this couple years old
Windows 95 150MHz 586.   

I am concerned about the small screen size and how fast the turtle can
move on the non-CRT display.  Someone in StarLogo discouraged me from
trying to use StarLogo on a Notebook(Apple in this case) notebook
computer.  He said there were too many windows open at the same time to
be seen clearly on the small screen.    Thanks for the help,   Dale
