Hi Jerry,

In answer to your questions about MicroWorlds:

Turtles are layered in the order of their hatching. The first hatched is
always behind those hatched later. Therefore, if you are going to have
many turtles on the screen, you need to be aware of their order of
hatching. Unless you delete or change the name of a turtle, they will be
in the order of the default names: T1, T2, T3, etc.

I think turtles always go in front of the background graphics. If you want
a turtle to go behind part of the background, make that part of the
background another turtle hatched later than the turtle you want to go
behind. If this is unclear, let's get together next time you're down in
the valley and I'll show you. (Jerry lives only about 75 minutes away from
me.)
