After trying to get the district to buy a LOGO version for my lab, I gave up and installed UCBLOGO on my Novell network. I have 29 DOS workstations, all software runs off the server much like the so-called "thin clients" being pushed by various companies. In some ways, this is good, but in others - getting software to run correctly, saving files, printing, and having access to help files, etc. can be a nightmare for someone not trained as a CNE. Plus, it has been some time since I have used LOGO as a student or teacher. My last experience with LOGO was with LOGO-Writer for Apple II, LOGO for Commodore, and a LOGO - like COMAL for Commodore (a great language priced out of exixtence). I have read through the manual twice - yet I am still having trouble with the following: 1. Saving files or procedures to be called up from student disks or server space. 2. Editing procedures 3. Access to help files These questions will do for a while. Carl H.
