i think george's sugestion for naming the new libabry funtion which brian suggested is a good one. butitem really describes its function in classical logo terminology. but i would likt to suggest that we also think about making it polymorphic in the sense that it also can remove subsets. so butitem 2 [a b c d] yields [a c d] and butitem [2 3] [a b c d] yields [a d] or do you think it would be better to have butitem and butitems as separate functions? -- Erich Neuwirth <neuwirth@smc.univie.ac.at> Computer Supported Didactics Working Group, Univ.
