For those of you in the New York City area, the Logo Foundationa and the Spence School are sponsoring a brief workshop about StarLogo. The information is below. How do traffic jams form? Investigate these and other phenomena using StarLogo, a programmable modeling environment especially designed for exploring decentralized systems. This brief workshop will offer an overview of StarLogo and an opportunity for a bit of hands-on exploration and examination of sample projects.
